Terms and Conditions for 24-Hour Lice Equipment Rental and Lice Removal Kit

1. Agreement Overview This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is made between The Lice Fairies ("Lessor") and the individual or entity renting the equipment ("Renter"). By signing this Agreement, Renter agrees to the terms outlined herein.

2. Equipment Rental The Lessor agrees to rent the lice equipment ("Equipment") to the Renter for a period of 24 hours. The Lice Equipment is to be used solely for its intended purpose and must be handled with care.

3. Rental Fee The Renter agrees to pay the agreed rental fee at the time of rental. The rental fee covers a period of 24 hours.

4. Additional Charges If the Equipment is held for longer than 24 hours without prior written or verbal agreement from the Lessor, additional charges of $100 per day may apply. These charges will be assessed for each day the Equipment is retained beyond the initial rental period.

5. Equipment Disclaimer The Renter acknowledges that the Equipment is not FDA approved. The Renter assumes all risks associated with the use of the Equipment and agrees that the Lessor shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from the use of the Equipment. 

6. Product and Service Disclaimer The lessor does not take responsibility for any diagnoses provided, nor can they guarantee the effectiveness of the product or process, as external factors (such as re-infestation from others) may influence the outcome. 

6. Responsibilities of the Renter

• The Renter agrees to return the Equipment in the same condition as received, normal wear and tear excepted.

• The Renter is responsible for any loss or damage to the Equipment while it is in their possession.

• The Renter agrees to follow all manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines when using the Equipment.

7. Indemnification The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Lessor from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in connection with the Renter's use of the Equipment.

8. Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California.

9. Equipment Warning Please note this device cannot be used to treat persons who cannot sense temperature or pain; who cannot communicate physical discomfort; who have open head wounds, sores, or visible signs of scalp abnormalities; who have received radiation treatment of the head within the last 6 months; who have cranial or facial implants; children under the age of 4; or who have hair that cannot be combed through with a standard comb.

• Message frequency may vary and will be used for account verification, customer care, and delivery confirmation. Users will typically receive messages only around the time of booking and delivery. Phone numbers will not be used for marketing purposes.

11. Acceptance By paying, the Renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
